so, a lot has been going on, we just haven't posted...
s* has been working a little more on-line, she is currently working on a 'lens', more on that later... once it has been graded, we'll put up a link for you to check it out!
we have been studying the 17th century, 10 Reasons to Believe God Became a Man (an on-line Bible Study from http://www.christiancourses.com/), radiometric dating, Benjamin West, Black Beauty, George Washington, teamwork, saving, Christian character, and a few other things...
this week we will be focusing also on preparing for our Christmas Celebration!
our homeschool party will take place sat., dec., 19th from 3-6pm, so far we have 39 people coming: 14 adults, 25 kids! we will work on a witnessing tool craft for about an hour, have food & fellowship for another hour, and then wrap up with song, scripture, and prayer!
i am really excited about it, it will be the first event i have helped to put together for the group that we have associated with for 3 years now...
please pray that it will go well~
as for the 'lens', s* has discovered a fascination with wolves and she is building a "website" on the subject; videos, pictures, facts, stories, etc. she is building a lens on squidoo, if you are not familiar with it, check it out, i'll post her link once her project is complete~
