we had a few more friends of the animal kingdom join our family today...
3 adorable little baby bunnies!
(mike came across 4 {literally-on the mower}, one didn't make it, but 3 were rescued)
we temporarily kept them in an old cat food box (no pun intended, tee hee)
and decided to transfer them to a more permanent home in the pooshoo's cage...
pooshoo doesn't usually use his cage until winter, so we'll have to do something different then,

we each took a turn naming:
S*'s bunny is Thumper because it is the most known rabbit name she knows, and the Thumper made famous in the Bambi movie reminds her of her new little bunny!
Mike's bunny is Sneakers because he likes to sneak around!
Kim's bunny is The Mad-Hatter because he just stared at me the whole time like
he was mad to be stuck in a box! ( i could almost hear him saying,
"Are you kidding me, you took me out of the wide open field to live in a box??")

How very precious. But they are wild, so try not to get to attached as I don't think they will want to stay cooped up for very long. Why don't you just go buy Summer a dog or something????

Did you guys give the 4th bunny a proper burial? We have had them in our yard from time to time, but we left them alone, and they seem to grow up and go away. I'm sure S* loves it. Have some fun for a while...Love ya--Dad
so cute, we have baby bunnines in our yard and we always have these same 2 big bunnies around i see them every day.
Love them....but like your Mom was saying....at some point you have to let them go free:)
