this month's BlueGrass Home Educators (homeschool group) meeting was held at Dean Watt's Park on Monday, 8/3...several were in attendance: Stephanie, Lucretia, Karen M., April, Pam H., etc....
we talked about many things including putting together a calendar of mom's mtgs...

May=Recognition Nite
Lots of "fieldtrips" planning as well:
Karen M. will work on setting up a 'Library Reference Fieldtrip'
Genita working on setting up a 'Bakery Fieldtrip'
Stephanie has planned a trip for 9/8 to Danville 'KY School for the Deaf'
i will be working on setting up a 'Civil War Museum Fieldtrip'
we also talked about going to a Candy Factory!
some other programs that may get started:
Genita & Pam H. will head up 4H
Stephanie will teach Sign Language
lots of things to look forward to!
