i hope to use this book this year to help summer* to manage her money...there is a scripture memorization (re: $$) & critical thinking ??'s regarding what God says about money, there is also a story that we will be reading one chapter a week that illustrates children her age 'earning their wages' and the different things that they can do and how to spend/save/give...
i messed up by letting her spend her tithe $$ at the Creation Museum and now that has become an expectation, and i am having to "re"-explain all while i am also learning 'how to manage money' -- i really hope her and i can learn together the truths from God on the importance of, the use of, the saving of and the management of $$$. w/in the first chapter it is stated that there are 2,350 verses in the Bible that talk about money...must be important!~

WOW! 2,350 verses talking about money!!! I always knew it was important. While teaching Summer to save, don't forget the parable of the tallents. The guy that burried them didn't get the "Well done, good and faithful servant". I think that parable tells us to invest.
